Norfolk Visitors Center Achieves Virginia Green Status
Norfolk, Va. (July 29, 2008) - The Norfolk Convention and Visitors Bureau (NCVB) is pleased to announce the Norfolk Visitor Information Center was awarded green certification from Virginia Green.
This new certification will allow the Norfolk Visitors Information Center, located at 9401 4th View Street, usage of the Virginia Green logo, and a profile of the facility on the Virginia Green website.
Virginia Green is a network of tourism-related organizations and programs that are committed to protecting and promoting the environment. To become certified, facilities and organizations must meet established “core activities” specific to each sector of tourism.
The mission of the Norfolk Convention and Visitors Bureau (NCVB) is to market and promote Norfolk as a destination for conferences, meetings, events, and tourism.
