Travel writers visit Norfolk
Norfolk, VA - On May 21 – 22, 2008, Norfolk Convention & Visitors Bureau partnered with Virginia Tourism Corporation and Geiger & Associates to host a group of travel writers, editors, tourism professionals and members of the public relations community.
The group spent two days exploring a few of the city’s highlights with visits to Nauticus, USS Wisconsin, Hampton Roads Naval Museum, Chrysler Museum of Art, D’Art Center, Norfolk Botanical Garden, MacArthur Memorial and a cruise on the American Rover.
Norfolk CVB looks forward to hosting another media tour June 5 – 8 when several nationally and internationally known travel writers will visit Norfolk for Harborfest.
